Bindings!

I just got some new skis so now I'm looking for some bindings to put on. I want to keep my ski fairly light so lighter bindings would be nice, but i definatly need them to last a couple of years. I can get a 15% discount at a store and these are the bindings I was looking at:

Rossignol Freeski2 140L Bindings - 2010 $150

Look PX 15 FS WB Bindings - 2009 $225

Fischer X14 Bindings - 2010 $140

2011 Salomon Z12 Bindings $160

2011 Salomon STH 14 Driver Bindings $250

2011 Marker Griffon Bindings $230

I would like to spend under $200 but if its worth it i can spend more. I like the griffon because its the lightest but it kinda spendy. The Rossi, Fischer and Look bindings are kinda heavy. So right now I'm leaning toward the Salomon Z12 cause its not too heavy and not that expensive but the discription said they were for lighter riders, I think I'm a lighter rider but I might gain some weight in the next couple of years.

So I know you guys put your bindings though some beatings and was wondering which one you would buy and why. thanks

sorry about the big space at the end. I couldn't get rid of it when I copied and pasted. And yes I did read The answer to "what binding" thread

We can't help you until you give us all of this information:

Weight

Height

Ability Level

Where you ski

Age (so we can really know how much you'll be growing)

weight: 170lbs

height:6'1

ability level: advanced

where i ski: 60% chopped up powder/bumps including 15ft cliffs, 20% open powder, 15% park, 5% groomers

age:16 but i've grown 2 inches in the last year

Definitely go STH 14 Driver. Either that or FKS 140. Both bombproof, especially compared to others. Don't even consider those other bindings compared to the STH 14 Driver.

not they are not

dont cheap out on bindings, they can be the difference between broken or twisted limbs/bones

fks 140 would be perfect for you though.

If the rossis are the same as previous years, with the metal axial2 heelpiece, they are pretty bombproof. If money is an issue I would go with those. The sth 14 driver is a better binding durability wise with almost the same amount of elasticity, so if u pony up the cash u won't be disappointed, but the freeski 140 should get the job done

I've heard of durability issues with Griffons. And if you're going to go with Griffons, don't, spend the extra $20 and get STH 14 Drivers. STH 14 Drivers are a way better binding, the two don't even compare.
