bindings

i just got pe's and im lookin for a good/light binding to put on em. im pretty light(127lbs) so i need sumthin lightweight. the reason i posted this is because at my local shop the guy told me to get look nova 9's but i dont know alot about bindings and the guy seemed like a fucken idiot.

i asked him about looks or salomons and he said they were way to heavy for park skis....this guy must have been a snowboarder or sumthin.

salomons not heavy at all, look/rossignol are heavy. Get the salomon 912s or I think they call them the pocket rocket binding, but I have them and their light and awesome.

salomons are somewhat heavy, I have the S810's, but if u want salomon get the s810 TI, or the s912 TI the TI stands for titanium (duh) and makes them lighter and more dourable, but i have heard nothing but good things from friends as well as online about looks, somepeople say that Look's brakes bend down and can dig into the snow, well guess what my salomons do the same and even that is no big deal just bend em back

mmmm skis

I have the Rossi Scratch 140 and can honestly say it's the best binding i have ever riden. I have riden Salomon's, Tyrolia's an d Rossi's and like the rossi's the best. I've never riden Look's but their similar to Rossi's and have heard good things about them.

any look pivot binder or rossi axial will do the trick. they are the best as far as I am concerned.

You should belive everything you read on the internet, it's all true.

risers are dumb for freestyle u dont want to make turning easier when ur focussing on freestyle. technique and style should make it all come together!

also pivot bindings do have their plusses, just not in the bumps or if u do nutty spins in the pipe. they can (not that they do often) cause injuries to knees

first of all the kid is not that much of an ass if you asked for the lightest binding that is what he suggested it is the lightest binding out there. look also has the same toe peice no matter what binding you use. it is the din that changes so the guy may have been a tool but he did not do that bad of a job. the p12 is a little heavy but it would give you a pivot heal and that is better for the park but the nova would be fine for someone of your size hope this helps
