Bindings ?

ya so i just got some new skis and i want a pair of good bindings for them but dont wanna pay a whole lot . any suggestions ?

Basically, all consumer bindings break right now. The PX's are horrible and apparently salomons are bad. YOu should tell us how much you weigh and that crap.

Your stupid bro. Salomon makes great bindings, their new jib bindings are perfect for what we do. Don't buy Marker bindings because they make shitty bindings that break so easily.

the duke looks good and so far i've read a couple good reviews but i can't say much more than that

only problem with the new markers is that they retail at around 300 which is rather high. but from what i have seen they do look solid which is shocking from something with the name "MARKER" on it.

I wouldn't call the STH16 a consumer binding, and they're certainly out of this dudes price range. And the STH12's are just the Z12's with a pretty paint job, and a bit of metal in the heel.

I hope you guys realize that the Duke is a touring binding.

So yeah, if you are looking for something with a touring (heel lift) option, then go for it, but if you are just looking for bindings for skiing at resorts and parks (prob. 90% of this site), then it's not really the best bet...

im just gonna go ahead and throw in the 4frnt deadbolt, cause it pwns the shit out of all these bindings except for maybe ninja916's and maybe the jester/duke pending reviews. deffinatly a solid choice that you wont regret.

he did say he didnt want to pay a whole lot. the jester does seem pretty nifty, but with a fat price tag. you can get rossi racestock (fks 155) for around half the price of the jester.

but i hate to toot the horn, but a look px or rossi axial should fit the bill just fine.

i just got me some salomon s912ti bindings with chrome, for about 100$, plus they come with 5 year warrenty. Can't wait for my anthems to come.

the sth12 has a beefier toe than the z12 and a new designed afd plate. I have them on my new moment reno rockers. I think they should hold up better than 912/914.

salomon bindings still suck. I weigh about 165ish most of the year. I stopped riding them after a year, and so did all my friends after we went through a bunch of them. they don't last long either, bad pre-release and ejection. Idk about the ones that are 20's or above, but all the other ones are shit. even my dad went through a couple of pairs, fuckin lame dude, and he only rides about 40 days a season.

I have been riding the rossi/look turntables for more then 6 years now. and have only broken one pair, and they were fuckin neon, and I bought them at the DI(thrift store), prolly like 20 years old. and they lasted more then 100 solid days of riding. and they are "ancient". and I have another old pair of the rossi turntables, and they still work. its a proven design. every pair I have bought I still own, and they work great, fuckin bullet proof. and the ones that only have a DIN of 12 are lightweight and durable.

rossi/look turntables or the new marker bindings. I don't care what anyone says. if your salomons are good bindings, thats becuase your a pussy and don't go big enough.

i might be able to get a pair of axials for free so i guess id go with those at that price but the jesters were on my list at the top but a little out of my price range so im just wonderin if a binding like that is worth the cash ?

just look for some rossi turntables man. go to a ski swap, the best is race team swaps. they all know whats up, most of them ride the turntables, hence they are call "race stock". if u are patient u can find some for cheap. hell go to the huge sawp in denver, u will find a bunch of shit, theres gotta be one near you soon.
