I'm looking at bindings to mount on my live lives, and after looking at a couple billion kinds, I still have no idea.

I can either go with some p series/fks turntables

try the new PX

or maybe try to find some sally 914 or 914 labs if I'm incredibly lucky.

what do you think?

and if I'm not mistaken, by the drill pattern it looks like Mike had some look/rossis on there before. If I get look/rossi, can I remount those holes, or what's the deal?
 
i'm no ski shop mounting tech. but i don't think you can use the holes "if" they have been plugged. I'm a salomon guy and thats whats on my livers. although, i have heard decent things about race stock rossi/look binders (duda duda duda)

You can get new Rossis and Looks on Steep and Cheap for like, $85.  I bought an extra pair, but my boyfriend is "borrowing" them.  Ebay is another good resource, though.

i ski on the fischer something or others. they're the exact same as the mojo's. i like them a lot. and to answer your hole question. you can reuse the holes, but thats kind of gross. there might be a disease in there or something.
 
good chice i have fks 185s on mine and love em! good luck finding somebody with a wide fks jig though! make sure the people mounting them know theyre shit so you dont get crooked bindings

the tyrolias are good as well!
 
i had that fuck up on a pair of msp's i had

got them with one set of holes in em, then the shop crooked mounted the mojo 11's and i had to get em remounted again.

fucking knobs...

I bitched enough though that next time i went in with a wide ski (Blends) they spent an hour mounting em and grinding down screws and everything so they didn't fuck up on me again which was nice to see.
 
Dont reuse holes!!! whatever you do thats just a bad idea, good work on the FKS have them drilled 3.5 instead of 4.1 too.
 
Nay I say! Nay! But nah, old holes rip out easier than fresh ones, stick with the fresh for your own saftey!
 
I've got a pair of brand new 06 P14s. I dont' really have a set price but you can make some offers, just try and keep it reasonable I'm not giving them away for free or something
 
well, I already bought some FKS 155's.

now, where should I mount them. I'll be skiing bridger and big sky, so I want them far enough back that I can charge, cause I probably won't be skiing switch that much in pow, but I want them far enough forward to still be able to spin and shit. I was thinking maybe -3. But you guys who have ridden them know what it will be like more than me, so any input would be tight.
 
hahaha yea mine are backwards too... guess i'll just measure it out myself so that i dont get anything mixed up.
 
yea, I'm gonna mark it. cause I know if I go to the shop they'd probably mount at +2 without thinking about it
 
center is center. the placement on the markings is correct, but the negative needs to be replaced with the positive.

so center is center and the other marks are so you can know how far in FRONT of center you're mounting them?!?! intersting... I think i'm gonna have to measure it out and draw a line in sharpie so that the shoptards dont get confused.
