Bindings Stuck?

ok so im riding on PEs with the solomon bindings, and after i have been hitting rails for about 4times out, the binding on my lead foot(when i go down rails) is truck and it wont pop down when i lose my ski. this makes for huge fun chasing my ski down the park. so does anybody else have this problem, and what did u do? i know this isnt particular to only solomon bindings, because it happened to my atomic bindings too on my old skis.

any help?

Before anything else, make sure you know that this rail is your little bitch, and that you'll nail it

are u sure you push the tailpiece back to the flat position? if the piece is still pointing up it will prevent you from going back in. normally when you step out of bindings you press it, but when they pop off this doesn't happen so you have to do it manually.

If you are afraid to take your bindings apart then take them to your shop, but basically what I would do if someone brought me the binding is take it apart to how it was shipped.. which is usually just taking it apart to the two main pieces. Then putting some teflon lube, or other lube in all of the moving parts, or the parts that touch, then maybe check and make sure your brake works correctly when just pushing on it, if it doesn't work I would take it out and check and make sure it isn't catching on the edge of your skis, but usually what fixes this is just dis- and reassembling it... if not have your shop take a look and they will more than likely replace your break or maybe a spring or two. Hope that helps.

Sorry i didn't really understand the problem, that might help, as it is a fairly common problem that I see. But specifically, those skis are relatively wide, so even though the brake is wide enough to pop out it might not if the base has gotten crunched at all. Check and see if the top skin is coming off and catching the brake, and maybe look at bending the brake a bit... anyway, it is harder to diagnose now that i have reread it, but take it apart, put it together , if that doesn't work... (you can check by just popping the boot out of the binding with your hands instead of having to dick with it all day up there) if it doesn't work.. take it to a shop and they can probably work it out

its not the binding being stuck, its just a problem with the spring, either its not hooked up right to the brake. if you dont know or dont wanna fix it, bring it to the shop, it shouldnt be much to fix, but then again, it could be that the binding is totalled

my marker bindings are crap. the brake is broken and like bent backwards from when they come off from landing switch.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
