Bindings release mid spin

One of my skis keeps releasing mid spin. The din's are fine. I'm going to guess they're just not set to my boot right. They are 2005 p10's. They've recently developed the healpiece wiggle. It's not bad but noticeable. I also noticed my whole back healpiece moves a couple mm's. I haven't checked to see if it's the mount or the binding not sitting right on the mount. If it is the mount would it be safe to take the 2 rear screws out and reset them? I'm thinking I might have to get them remounted but the skis are only a month old and I don't want to have to make another set of holes.
 
Like I said din is fine. I just readjusted them and the wiggle was from the healpiece not sitting right. No need to remount.
 
sounds like your toes and heel peices on your boots are worn down, if you have adjusted them to your boot size and dins are right.

i know a kid who use to have this happen with his p14s and then got new boots and that mid spin releasing was a thing of the past
 
you know those little pieces on the 'wing' type things on the very outside of the toepiece, just a little piece of plastic, if thats missing thats your problem. I had that happen to me earlier this year.
 
I'll try them out next time I go. My boots are old but my other set of skis don't have this problem and they weigh more and are the same bindings.
 
theyre the pivots with the clear dildo right? pretty heavy ones?

if so, i have those..and the same thing is starting to happen to me. not the ski flying off but i can feel my heelpiece like..shifting kind of
 
I had this happen on my look px12's twice. And theres two differne things that happened. One was my foward pressure was not set right. So just up that and there you go. Another (which explains why your heel would wiggle) is that your holes for your bindings bowed out, making them more oval and your bidnig just moves in that. Which would necessatate a remounting.
 
^On my Scratch 140ti's mine had the forward pressure adjustment off. So i was in mid air and went for the mute and pulled my ski off completely. It was fucking crazy.
