Bindings not center...

I just got my K2 Domain with Marker jester bindings today, I told the guy at the store I wanted them center mounted, but when I looked at them at home it looked like they tail was shorter. I tried to measure and found out that the binding is around 10 cm closer to the tail then top. I'm trying to get my dad to drive at store so I ask you NS, do I demand entirely new skis or a re-mount?

Lol, domains are symmetrical skis. Im thinking your measuring wrong.

If they are -10cm try and get new skis.

Make a big deal out of how they are symmetrical and the recommended mounting point is center.

that ski is symetrical so it should be center but also the heel piece is way longer than the toepiece so it will look like there is less tail.

i had the same problem this season... i went back and told them, and they remounted my bindings for free in 20 minutes.

are you sure there 10cms out? cuz thats an awful lot. theres only 8cm difference between dead center and the farthest back recomended mounting spot on my s5s. 10 cms seems like alot. still id flip shiz and demand new skis

wow... I just measured wrong.... /facepalm.. I tried it again and halfway of the boot is halfway of the ski :o It just looks like I got a really short tail ;> again.. /facepalm

in the future, the easiest way to check is to put the skis down next to each other nose to tail and tail to nose and see if the bindings line up. the heel piece should line up with toe piece on the ski next to it.

or the same thing but clip your boots into the bindings for an even easier visual.
