you should get the white rossi scratches. They are really tough and really cheap (+-$150). You might have to get wider brakes, but those are pretty cheap.
first off they're 169cms lol. Jesters would be overkill, like he'll ever need anything over a 12 DIN. Rossis would be an option but i'd go with STH12. They aren't flimsy by any means, but if you look at them that way then you have a 5 year warrenty to back you up. salomon makes solid bindings, do it. http://www.untracked.com/p2567-09_salomon_sth_12_freestyle_freeride_ski_bindings.html
those in white with a 115 mm brake would make for a sick setup.
Look is a very durable binding, i have them on my 08 fugis i just dont know what the brake situation would be. also try rossi, i got a cheap binding from them with a wide brake.
I'm probably going for Marker Griffons. Just like the Jesters, but I don't need the 16din rating, I stay around 8 or 9, but if you're heavier then the Jester's probably better. I also heard that the Griffons are about as sturdy only difference is the lighter spring. Jesters are going to increase your re-sale value, if you care about that. You could also check out the Salomon STH 12, 14 or 16, those are dope. Rossi makes good bindings for fat skis. Looks makes good bindings to, their kinda heavy though, but super durable, they would be the best for hucking cliffs and shit.
depending on your height, and if you're going to be using them for more all mountain than park stuff.. might even want to step it up to a 14 din binding. Look px14ti's, or Salomon STH14's wouldnt be bad.
