i may get them remounted

haha those are k2 juvys, a kids ski, they arent gonna suggest mounting them center, because theyre not made at all to be mounted center.

ya k2 has some werid core mount points.....i've seen it on all there twins for the past few years, but for sure get those things more forward abit more

haha ty dude, im 13 and 5'3", i can stillg et away with 149s. yeh i was really thinking about getting them remounted and i think i may take them in later this week. It really feels like im swinging my fronts around, not my skis...Will this terribly effect my regular mountain skiing? I dont wanna struggle on the double blacks and stuff when i still have to ski wit my dad. He doesn't go in the terrain parks cus he races, so some times i have to go on the black and such. I can handle em, but i dont know how much it will change if i get them remounted. If i do, how far up should i get em up, i want em a bit farther back from center mounted.

mount at like....6 back fro, center maybe? or 7? anyways u can mount them so theyre good for park and allmountain

anyone else got any ideas on where? thanks NPM, i just still wanna be able to ski all mountain so mad dad will stop annoying me about they will ride horrible if i get them farther up. "those thing will ride terribly ifu get them mounted farther up"

if you get those center mounted you might as well ride snowblades...

get em mounted 3-4 cm back from center should be good for all mtn and park

? i rather not spend all my time just trying to maneuver my ski and not be able to actually enjoy myself. bottom line while i can still pull it off, im gunna by junior skis cus they cheaper and easy to mess around with. And thats beside the point, im looking for advice for where i should mount my bindings.

thats last post was directed towards big cougar, and to get it straight, yeh i know my skis are short, im short, get over it. thanks for the advice, keep it coming

hhahaa thats what mine look like and theyre not even twins. yet im learning my first 3's and some rails on them. its tricky sicne therye a carving ski. but yeah if you can mount those back! im not allowed to fuck with mine sicne theyre a lease.

yeah im pretty sure ive decided to move em up, but now my dad is being a bitch and saying it can be done once i get the money to do it......Since i dont live on the hill its alot more expensive here (100 dollars) for mounting..... He is used to paying a fraction of that so i have to pursuade him to get them remounted.

Hmmmm yeah maybe i should call around and see if i can get them mounted for less. Thing is i think the other closest shop is like 1 hr away. I wouldn't mind but my dad would i bet....

Dam not being able to drive

sorry to revive an old thread but....

My PEs are mounted similar to the pics in this original post and i'm wondering if it really affects your park skiing. i can 3 fine but i cant slide for shit. I figured it was probably just because i'm not that good. but could the mounting be a factor as well?

Thats likly the recommened point and shops will mount them at recommended unless you say otherwise.

Yeah true that......but when i look a where the graphics end, it really looks like they were badly mounted by the first place. I would bring back to my shop and bitch for sure.

it looks like you can see the recommended mounting line and its rite under the toe of the binding...meaning thats realllly screwwed up...anyone else see that?

you shoulda just got some regular skis, 149 is mad short for a 5'3" kid. 5'3" is 160cm, so a 159 would have been perfect for you, or even a 165ish ski thats light, 149 is much to short, unless you are a beginer skier or a vagina that cant move around an extra couple lbs.

i bought my fujas used and they were mounted at the recommended mounting, I almost didnt buy em cause they were mounted what looked to be pretty far back. But they ski just fine

dude, my pes are like that....they suck at mid sole. remount them at core center or +6, they feel the same as at mid sole

actually, i went back and bitched, and since i told them to center mount them and they didnt write it down on paper, there was nothing else they could do so next year im getting them remounted somewhere else, and im gunna get a line reactor and shove it up the other places ass
