ok, cliché thread, but when i buy bindings, wht should i look for ?

i weigh 65kg and im 1,80m tall

i mainly ski offpiste powder bordercross with occasional some rails...

what should i look for, models are OK, but more specific thing to LOOK for, i allready know large breaks can be usefull, but any other things to look for or test in the shop ?

At your ability, there doesnt seem to be any need for a race stock (FKS/P18). I think some of the older pivots, or PX would be fine.

And who cares about colour? Buy your bindings for function, not appearance.

no idea, probably cheap ones, considering it were rentals...

thx for posting these models, but some real things to look for would be nice, so i know in the store wich bindings are good or bad ones...

also i want cheap ones ;P

yea, but however i can still spray paint em...

(for some reason everything i buys is brown with black and white... )

so matching bindings would be a +

...

Landgraaf of Peer?

Not sure how much they cost. Where are you from?

There's a real good skishop in Antwerp, dedicated freeskier shop, called Republik of Snow & Wind. He should be getting Salomon binders in somewhere around this time.

Give them a call on monday on 03-232-2117 and ask for Francois.

If you plan on going there let me know, I'll be there next saturday mounting my skis.

from what you said i think the Salomon STH12 would be a perfect binding for you, solid binding, and its brown.
