Bindings for ski?

so i just bought the 166 armada ar6. im 5 foot 5, 110 pounds. im an advanced skier. i do 60% groomers/hardpacked, 40% park...in the park i do more rails ( 60%) and jumps that do not exceed like 20 feet, if that (40%). i am concerned about weight, then durability..but i put weight first because i do not throw down hardcore shit sooo i most likely wont break the binding.

so the considerations are marker griffon, salomon sth12, and rossi sas120

also, i need to decide where to mount it.. -2.5 (recomended), or dead center

i have rossi bindings and there super solid.
and as a general rule of thumb i normally mount everything +1 of recomended

^^not going to happen. i dont need something that good and i dont feel like looking around newschoolers for a pair and stillh ave a chance of getting ripped off

right now im thinking griffons

In my opinion, the SAS would be your best bet, or a PX12.

Disclaimer: I am 5'10" 165 pounds, and I do throwdown once in a while. I also put ALOT of use into my gear every year. (I work at a ski hill).

Reasons:

1: They are cheap (px12 is 100 bucks on Sierraskis.com)

2: The heel unit on the Rossi/look bindings is second to none for park. They have huge elastic travel, so you dont prerelease whether your doing park, or switch skiing. I returned some STH 14 binders because I kept stepping out skiing switch/railsliding. I have not had any problems with the Rossi/Look binders, and they are "only" din12 bindings.

3: The only issue I have ever heard for any of these bindings (all the ones you listed) is durability. They are lightweight Bindings, but you are not heavy, and don't throw down huuuge, so don't worry about it.

4: In my opinion, the Marker bindings are good too, but they are hard to find cheap, and I broke a toe piece skiing park, and they have a similar, but not as bad prerelease problem as the salomon STH.

I think any of the bindings you listed are gonna be fine for you, so I would suggest buying whatever is cheapest.

Oh, forgot to mention, The Dynastar Jib bindings dont have a raised heel, they are about even across the boot, some people dont like it, but I think it doesn't matter much, they are killer though, and would pair well with some AR6 in my opinion.

Best of luck dude.

thanks for the help.

its the marker griffon vs the sas120 now. how much heavier is the sas? i know its like 500 grams or so per pair but how much is that?

beacause i reallyyyyyy want a super light binding since im so small and on top of that, i got a ski that was a little big for me so i can grow in to it

dude you want good bindings, they are the most important part of your skis. you can get a pair on here for like 140 which is cheaper then griffons, they will last a million times longer then griffons, and just buy from a member with good feedback
