Bindings for me

I need bindings for my Fujatives that I just bought for $165.

I weigh 120-125 lbs, and I'm 5'6".

I want the bindings to last at least 2 seasons.

Since I don't weigh a lot, I don't need those PX 12s that everyone is recommending, right? Maybe a lower model?

Also, are the only things that bindings have to do is to stay attached or detach in the right situation and to not break? Or is there something else that separates the high quality ones from the low quality ones?

Well px12 isn't exactly a super high class binding. They can go for as low as $80, if get a good deal obviously. I wouldn't pay more then $100 for them, since there's tons off SAC and what not.

You could go with a PX10, but what kind of DIN do you normally ride at? Just because PX10 go to 10 you don't want to set the DIN past 7. (3 from highest, someone correct me?). Not sure if you can get Px10ti's, so they might break. I'd just go with a pair of px12ti's, 12jibs if you want. I think s912ti's are lighter then both Looks, so get those if you want a lighter binding, but they're more expensive, or at least harder to get a good deal on.

search bar. bindings are very controvercial. different people have different things to say. but since your not a big guy i dont think you would need a 12 din binding. maybe rossi 100s?

i dont think there is a rule to go by but the main idea is you dont want to max out your springs. you want your din to stay in the middle of your bindings range pretty much because when you max out your springs they have a tendency to realease when they are not supposed to and vice versa

My dins set at 5.5 and it doesn't eject when it doesn't have to. So is there like a low din, inexpensive binding that is pretty durable?

get salomon z10 ti. super light, low enough din for you... and they hold up really well. cheap too. you'll be stoked.
