Bindings for fat people.

I have a problem. I do my trick, I stomp it, and then I fly out of my bindings.

I've only used solomon and Tyrolia bindings so far. Solomon s914s and Tyrolia race bindings that went up to about 17.

I'm thinking of getting Looks this year, but I wanna know if anyone knows what the best binding would be for me?

I would def try some looks... how much do you weight? I am like 195 and I have no problems with my p12s...

just make sure you get race stock bindings. many pros use the look or rossi race binding, mine are looks with a din range of 8-18. im 150 lb. and have to ski at a 12 din to stay in on switch landings on large jumps. lates

ive always used tyrolia since i started skiing, i broke 5 pairs too hahahhah but they have a great warranty so its no problem at all

Salomon S912 Ti's work great for me and I'm almost 200, but i'm like 6'2' also

YEah, the only problme is when I used Tyrolias at a din of 14, then I strained my MCL. I want to use a binding at a medium din (around 10 or 11) so I don't wreck my knees, and still be able to stay in my skis.

i got rossi axial race 110's and they're pretty fuckin sweet. im up around 220, 6'2 so they hold nice and tight

I'd take a look at your bindings. I think there is something wrong with them. If you crank down 914s you should be ok. Seth jumps 80 foot cliffs on his and sticks his landings, so you should be able to as well. unless of course, you're really really heavy.

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day
 
look at the boots and bindings, most likely your problem is there.

I weight bout 240, and have had no problems with look/rossi, and the only problem I have had with salomon before was a cracked toe peice.

If you are seriously releasing that bad, have someone take a look at the internals of the bingdings to make sure that there is no corrosion or damage or generally f'ed up pieces in your bindings

yeah, i had s912 Tis, and i popped out everyonce and a while, but that was because the bindigns were screwed up. i had the tyrolia race stock bindings last year as well on my mad trix, and had those ones set at 14 and never popped out when i didnt need to.

on my pistols at the moment i have rossi power 100s, but im lookin to get some rossi 140 comps or pros cuz i dont wanna be skiing around at a DIN of 8.

yeah, i suggest either the p14s, or the 140 comps or pros. or maybe some s916s. i dont know the DIN of the marker frees, but i think its 12. you might wanna check those out. i heard they were pretty good/durable and light.

seth doesnt use 914s - he uses older race bindings with a much higher din. And dont lie sam - we all know your 220, not 210.

I have the scratch 140s on my pistols. I have only poped out once, and that was on a twisting knee killing fall in the pipe and they released with pretty much no presure on my knee. I have them set on 12. 6'2 190

wow din 12 sounds so high...anywho also check to make sure your bindings were mopunted to the boots you have NOW. I bought new boots, got a size smaller and now the front peice is not tight flush with the boot. So check to make sure there mounted propely and really flush with your boots

12 din isnt that high at all. all of plakes skis have bindings that go from around 18-26. 26 is a high din for ya.

go with look they have the longest elastic travel on the market the toe is about 35mm and the heal is a pivot heal that is what i would go with you wont even need better than a p12

 
I'm not that heavy, 6 feet, 185 lbs.

I think it may have something to do with the fact that my boot soles are starting to wear and my bindings are cracked...

marker also has bindings that go up to 30, only about 5 pair were ever made tho. most of the real race bindings are comp 2600's, sumtin like 16-26 din. of corse, at a din over 20 your more then likely to pull the binding out of the ski then to release it, that or really fuck yourself up solid.

matt i'm geting the scratch 140 bindings this year, they seem sick, never used them but they sound very promising
