Alright so now only a couple kids here have ridden them, but im probly gonna pick up a pair next year and would want to try to pick up bindings at the end of this season to save some cash, but bindings are somethin i really dont know much about, any recomendations for a pretty hardcore bindings to put on a nice fat ski?

sth 16 man. i have them on two of my skis and they're the shit. fks is great too, but the brake situation is pretty shitty.

I would recommend the S916 for them over the sth.

the extra metal makes it more bombproof for backcountry drops and everything.

The Lab and Equipe are both all metal although I think the Equipe sits lower because its a racing binding and fits with racing restrictions.

Jesters are sick, their wide mounting pattern is really nice on fat skis and they have been a great binding for me. I have a pair on some seths, and plan on putting another pair on hellbents soon :)

I have FKS on my park skis and I love them, but I decided against putting them on my all mountain and powder skis for a few reasons:

First, I was worried about the narrow mounting pattern ripping out. Second, I did not want to deal with bending the brakes and then having to replace them, which I know is very hard. Third, if you ski some pow with an FKS binding you know it is hard to step in. When you hike a lot in deep pow, and your trying to put your skis on quickly on a steep pitch, the FKS bindings are a huge pain (for me). Snow gets stuck in them and you have to deal with the 360 degree rotating heelpeice. With the jesters, you just click in and your good. I would recommend the jesters.

So im takin it u havent had any problems with the plastic housing then? Ive heard of a few problems with the durability of the jesters but other than that they do sound pretty good for a pow ski
