hey guys so i just got a pair of 166 line honey bees, but i still need to get bindings for them. the waist width of the ski is 92, and i’m just looking for a light weight bindings that’ll fit them for a good price. any suggestions?

Doesnt the brake have to be wider than the ski?

Are you joking bud? You've been around here long enough to know this stuff.

Attack 13s come in an 85 or 95 brake though not 90 or 100.

also, i would get the new version of the attack which comes in 14 and 17 din. You can see minor differences between the 2020 attack (yellow) and the new 2022 attack (blue). The floorpad on the 2022 (blue) toepiece does not ramp upwards into the unit like the earlier model (yellow) does. Im not sure what this improves but it probably improves something…

You’re correct. I have 95 on my 102s. Got it mixed up with marker brake sizes.

Me too.

I think op could go with 85s but I feel like the narrower the attack brakes are the closer to the named width they are?

Marker brakes are much closer to actual width in my albeit limited experience.

Heavy base plate, brakes that didn’t go down when you twisted out.. what could do wrong??

I don't know what's more sad. That a wonderful idea failed or that this binding is what ended up sending line to k2

Please don't get on a binding kick. Idk if we can handle that Dolan. But you should know the answer to the first question you posted about width.

They are much closer. And unlike pivots the brakes retract in when stepped into so you can get away with extra in a worst case scenario

yup i go with griffons. Even thou this site has a fetish with those piviots

Yeah. But to be fair, rightfully so. I have pivots on both pairs of my skis, and I'd never go back. I did get screaming deals on them both, though. I wouldn't ever pay full retail for them. 2020 Griffon 13s are $180 on evo right now. Good deal

But 2021 attack 13s are $160ish so you can save $20 and have a better binding.

Oh snap! I didn’t see that deal. Even better. Where at?

I should have been more clear...also at evo. I didn't do the exact calculation, evo shows me prices in CAD. $202 CAD should be right around $160 USD

Didn't catch your skill level or weight. If your pretty good and or on the heavier side then attack 14 or marker griffon/jester. If that's not you then attack 11 are good. Stay the fuck away from squires

Only binding I ever broke was a pivot
