Binding remount?

If i get a pair of skis, and thier bindings are for 28/28.5, would i have to have them remounted for a 27.5(9.5) boot? I'm thinking of getting some used enemies...anyone..? decent beginning pair? i'm tryin to decide on 200 for used enemies with marker bindings, or 300 02 conepts with look bindings...this is in addtion to the other 200 i'm already spending...

i would say concepts coz they rule! and look bindings are amazing, i will let some other person talk about the technical stuff

you may not have too because the binding may adjust to you, but it isnt the best idea. Remounting isnt good for the skis, because it weakens the ski. The enemy has the highest delam possibility of any ski. They are terrible with that, hence K2 is releasing the Public Enemy, to fix this problem.

I would not reccommend the Marker bindings because they lack elastic travel, which is crucial to our style of skiing, to help prevent injury on a fall. The Look Bindings are excellent. Dourable, and the pivot heel drastically reduces the risk of ACL injury in a twisting fall. The new concept is also a very nice ski, and i prefer it over the enemy, mainly because the enemy is very fat in the tip, and it is a bit heavy.

chinaman, i think i sent you an order form for the dynastar stuff, but in case i didnt, msg me and i can hook you up with brand new gear that you will not have to re-mount. and it is like half price!
