Binding Remount Neccesary?

Hey all,

Ive searched on here but havent found an existing thread that totally answers my question. I have a pair of 2009 Line Chronics 176cm with Axium 100 bindings. When i put the boot into the binding, the line on the bottom of the boot lines up with the midsole line on the ski. This season i want to start hitting some jumps and boxes. Do i need to have these remounted forward of Midsole if i want to be doing some minimal park and terrain? How much of a difference would moving the binding make?

60% Groomers/40% Jumps and boxes

Thanks in advance!

are you saying you have them mounted at recommended and you want to know the advantages to remounting to tru center?

yes that's what he's saying, and i'd say that if you're just starting to get into park, leave them how they are for the moment. if you end up enjoying the jumps and rails and stuff then maybe move them up. but if you're just dabbling it's not a big deal.

Thanks,
Yes that is exactly what i was wondering. People seem to make a big deal about where the bindings are mounted so i was just curious if it was an extremely neccessary thing to do if the 4 cm difference between midsole and -3 made a huge difference

you wont believe how easy skiing switch is the first time you try center mounted skis. makes anything in the park 100 times easier.
