maybe u should not worry about it, the diff prob like 5 lbs at the most i dont think thats gonna throw off if u can do a 180 or not

im not sure if i can answer it how u really want me to, but novas are not as strong as the p10's, but i think that they are, in fact, lighter.

Well I can't answer your question but I can tell you to be careful with really light bindings. I thought that was important so I mounted my 1080's with rossi axium 'light concepts'. I skied them for 2 months and broke the bindings at least 5 times. I am not exagerating at all.

the nova's are meant for old men and sissy little girls named sally. They aren't meant for jibbing, and if you jib on them you will break them within on a week. I would break them within a couple hours

get the p10, or you will regret it

 
well i don't know if you can get your hands on them from where you are, but salomon S810ti's weigh about half as much as the look p10's and they've held up fine for me and my friend.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
 
what noteffa said, those bindings are for kids, there not built to hod pu to jibbing, get the p10s there not that much more expensive, if they arent the same price, and get last years because they are primaraly the same thing, just different colors.

the s810 ti is a flat binding where the 810ti axe has a axe plate under it something that you don't want the p10 is pretty heavy where the other guys are right the novas are shit. Stick to the p10's or the p12ti's the 810tis are probably the lightest out there but they have been known to break in the past, Ive skied salomon for 20 years problem free so if your looking for the lightest S810ti is where you want to be the p10 or p12ti are quite heavy but in some peoples eyes a little bit safer towards knee mess ups...

you may find my post to be useless , however i was also once in your posiition. My friend, the weight is on your foot you're not gunna feel it. like, do you need to pop the extra cm? do you need to feel liek yurou riding a peice of cardboardl ine skis? dont you wantot feel SOLID stable , steezy? thats what the weight brings for you man , you float yoru spins , you dont huck , you become a solid skier. Light set up basically encourages you to huck you shit andn ot be stylie , the weight will amke youa betetr rider , and it shoudl feel better minsu the fatc itsn ot even noticable! thats the good hting , i have the heaiest set up and i dont feel it, i pop 360 on the gorund liek nothing , you dont feel it man. on my super light set up i coudl still only spin a 360 on the ground , but trruusttt me the weight is not guna hurt you , its ponly gunna help you out. i hope you tkae thisinto consideration because its itme some ppl open their eyes.

Get the 1080 or PR binding. I forget which model they are but I just got a pair and they are light but their Salomon so they're the best bindings money can buy so they'll hold up too.
