hey guys. I've got a question about remounting bindings. If there is any holes left in your ski from the previous binding, should you fill them with epoxy or anything? Or if you got it done at a shop, would they do it for you? thanks, and +k to any help

Yeah, shops will fill in holes from previous mounts.

I'm not sure what they fill them with exactly, but it is probably some kind of epoxy. I wouldn't know that though.

Pending on how close the remount will be, they will either fill them with glue and plastic plugs, or they will fill them with glue and hardwood plugs.

Not too much. depending on how well you know the techs or how chill they are, it could be anywhere from a 6 pack to like 30 bucks. It usually varies per store though.

at my shop if i buy new bindings they take the old ones off and mount the new ones, its $50 but thats because theyre like almost out of business.

Yeah cuz i called ski barn and at first the guy was like "i think its about 25 bucks",but then he was like let me make sure im sending you to the manager. and the manger was like "did u buy the skis from us?" and i said no. Then he goes "thatll be 100 bucks" and he just hung up. Hahaah . im going to check out this smaller shop soon

Are you remounting the skis with the same type of binding? You can just drill out the old holes and put inserts in there.
