Binding Q

Last year I got my bindings mounted for 27.5, but this year my feet grew and I'm now 28.5.

To accommodate my bigger boots my heel piece on my bindings (Look px12) can slide back and fourth on the rail a little bit. When I move it back, do I have to get the Din adjusted?

your din is based on height/weight/ability level, not boot size so you should only need to get your din raised if you grew a good amount since you last got your bindings mounted or if you have gone for example from a level II skier to a level III

The DIN does have to do with height, weight AND boot sole length, so it is possible that his DIN has changed. Plus, you should recheck your DINs every season since you might have grown or gained/lost weight as well as changed boot size or skill level.

Yes, you should be fine fitting the new boots on the PX12s, as long as the binding is set towards the middle of the track or closer to the break as of right now. The PX series has one of the longest tracks of non-demo bindings.
