Binding plate

Hey so i just got some new skis that came with bindings. I got them shipped so the bindings arn't mounted yet. The bindings are tyrolia LD12 and they had a piece of plastic that clips onto the front and rear binding pieces. I have never used a binding with one of these and i was wondering if you can use the binding and just not put it in. Not sure if that makes any sense so ill put the photos in.

This one you can see the part that it would clip into is the metal tab facing down in the center. So firstly if anyone has tried with and without is there any difference?and if i didn't use it would i have to get that piece of metal bent or something?
Thanks

Haha yeh thats what i thought. but other than that plate in the middle there a good binding. They have a swivel heel pretty decent friction belt. but i might just take my look px12 jib narrow of my old skiis if you think that its not a good op.

It would inhibit the flex of the ski to a small extent. It would raise your boot higher off the ski, elevating you and making turning easier but at the same time screwing with your balance.

In addition (this happens to be my opinion now), they're Tyrolias - an immediate no-no. There are some bindings I just don't really like, and Tyrolias are one of them. Are they plastic?

yeh there plastic. i didnt actually choose them they just kinda came with the ski in a deal so i was like wth ill get them
