Binding not flush with ski

I just bought new 04/05 1080's and had the shop mount Rossi Scratch 200 bindings at core centre. Haven't skiid the setup yet.

The other day I was checking out the mounting job and realised that on the rear left screw of one of the toe binding, the binding isnt flush with the ski....maybe like 1-2mm off.

My question is this...can I just crank it in with a screw driver? Or will it fuck up the glue (i.e. break the seal). It also might bend the binding.

I expect that if I take it back to the shop it's exactly what they'll do.

How serious is it anyway? should I stop worrying and just ride em?

if i was you, id ride them, break all that shit and get it all waranteed, cause that will be super easy to break
 
except most companies dont warranty incompetent mounting of bindings. Good try though. the best you can do is just go into the shop and ask whats going on
 
if i were you i would not try to tighten the screw myself, thats just because i strip screws all the time and they seem really tight in skis
 
I'm pretty sure this happened to me 2 years ago, I tried to just turn the screw myself but it was impossibly hard to turn, so I took it to the shop. Guy took it in the back room came out not even 5 minutes later and everything was peachy.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Screws could be too long or holes not deep enough. Take it to a shop but u might just be trippin.
 
It's possible that the bit didn't coutersink the hole when they were drilling.

If you take it back and get it fixed, make sure they don't strip out any of the holes. They may reuse the same holes when they remount/tighten, and may strip them out.

I'd unscrew that screw, put some glue in there, and torque it down until the binding sits flush.
