i had the same problem. the only thing they do is increase your power to the edges, making you turn easier. this is only a problem when landing, because i fyou land a little sideways or crooked, the ski will wan to turn. some bindings, like the rossi series, have different sized screws for the bindings, the power series has a plate and therefor has larger screws. also, the bindings might not be flush with the ski. the bottem of rossis axial bindings has grooves in it, so all of their bindings without a plate some tih adapters built in so the binding mounts flush. hope this helps
