I want to turn my din up on my griffons but I don't wanna crank em and snap and ankle. What should I put them on I'm 5'10" and 150 lbs thanks.

this. lots of different factors come into play when setting a DIN, if you dont know what youre doing most places probably wont even charge you

assuming youre bsl is about 317, and youre a 'level 3 skiier' markers chart says din at 7. But then again this is NS im sure people will get cracnk it to 15

Is your forward pressure correct? How are your traction plates on your boots? Are your bindings passing torque testing?

Spark note:Take your stuff to a shop and check that your equipment is working right.

you if you can make them release by slamming your ski sideways into the ground or when you stand stil and pop your foot up and forward (while having it on ofc) turn them up one step to make them not release during butters.

thats my opinion, unless anyone have a legit argument against this, then do this.

Sell your griffons and buy marker M30's if you can still find them. Crank them up to 30 and you won't have the problem again.

That sounds like a forward pressure problem more than DIN. The best thing to do is take it to people that know what they're doing with whom you can speak with face-to-face. Lots of NSers know a lot about this stuff (and I'm sure plenty are techs at shops), but you can't speak to us in person.

Take it to a shop.

Start at about 7, if you still pop out too much then gradually turn it up until you don't. If you get to like 12 stop, your forward pressure is fucked up. Bring it to the shop and they'll fix it.

what i did is similar to this. keep in mind i have not had problems with my bindings ejecting too early or not at all. after i got them mounted from the shop i went home and clicked in. from there i leaned forward as if i was buttering and i went asfar as i could. if your skis pop out when you so that turn them up a little bit. then from there you're just going to keep repeating that process until your foot doesn't come out. if you do it bit by bit then it will be safe. i still eject at proper times and i never pre release.

I entered the details you gave me and had to assume/guess some. But putting the below your din came out at seven.
