I'm looking to put bindings on a pair of LINE SFB's, and i have narrowed it down to the look px 18 vx the salomon sth 12's. i'm looking for some opinions from people who have actually used them, but a main concern i have is the break width. on the looks, the break is 110mm, and on the salomons, you can get a 130mm. the skis are 115 underfoot. what do you think?

those are two totally different bindings. One is heavy and has a high din range, the other is relatively light and low din. How did you end up on these two?

That's like comparing a Civic to an F-350. The PX-18 has a way higher DIN range. However if you want my opinion on the bindings, they are both gay.

If you are thinking about STH12s or px18s, then you've already made the decision for yourself. It's STH12s. You'd already know if you needed a 10-18 DIN range, and the fact that you're considering a binding that only goes to 12 means you're not even close. Save the money, save the weight, and be happy with STH12s. You definitely do not need px18s.

Fuck each of those. go with Jesters like me. Bacons+jesters=dope ass setup.

And jsut like everyone else said: 2 completely different types of bindings.

you are all right, the 18s are probally too strong for me, din wise. i also know that they are two different kind of bindings, but i went with the two brands that i have owned and liked, and those were recommended to me as far as the brands go.

Doesn't the new PX18 start at 10?
Which would mean you have to be even more burly to ride them tham 916s....even though we all know 916s are way better.

Yo what about the STH 16 if ur up in that range. Even better get the Jesters or Dukes. Nice wide platform for ur nice wide skis. 76 mil right? Haha I saw them on some 161 Ar6's yesterday and I was like "wtf?" but still, get the dukes, u can tour dude, an option u may like to keep open if ur on those fatties.
