Until one poor landing to switch and brakes break or bend. Get markers or sth.

they have the most amount of elastic travel of any binding on the market

elastic travel is how far your boot can move off center and still be retained if the force suddenly lets up.

what this means is that in a situation you hit a big ice cookie or something and it jolts your ski quick fks give you the best chance of keeping your ski on your foot instead of having it pop off and you bailing. If you're in a fall that you need your ski to come off your boot would blow through the travel like any other binding.

basically fks give you the best shot at preventing prerelease

I've seen it before but you have to mount them yourself if you want to do it. Shops won't do it because of legal issues. Kinda lame.

I have px12s that are like that. Neither toe or heel pieces match, its 4 different bindings. Px12s blow tho

I have the 18s, I only weight like 180 so I keep the din at like an 11.5 but I still pop out when I need it which is nice but they still keep me locked in

Look and fks are the exact same thing it just depends on what colors you like. I just wouldn't get markers honestly I feel like everyone who rides them in the park tears their acl I maybe wrong but I swear it seems that way. But Fks and the pivots are a sweet binding.

Because "markers or sth" wont break on a switch landing.

At least you can replace the breaks on an STH or Marker binding without dismounting the heel.
