get the p12 or s912 Ti or marker 12.0 free. one binding doesnt really have an advantage over another, they're all going to release the same. as long as you get a high end binding (one thats not designed for old people who ski groomers all day) you'll be fine. whatever you do, dont get lifters or a plate, plates just add weight and barely make the ski flex more, and risers are dumb and make it harder to jib rails and spin.

Destroy, you couldnt be more wrong. Bindings do release differently. Take your recommendation for the markers...those pre release like a bitch. I cant tell you how many times my friend has pre-released this year going off a cliff or just skiing fast...and this is markers upper end race stock binding(the swiveling heel one). So destroy you are very wrong, and a jackass for recommending an inferiour product such as the markers.

everyone is gonna bitch and moan about binding advice...thats just the way it goes. You have to realize that there are alot of pairs of bindings out there and everyone is going to hate one or the other. My recomendation would be to first pick out a binding based on where you will be riding your din. For instance if you have your din at 9, choose a binding with a 12 din. Then pick a binding that YOU like. Some love salomon, some hate them. Some swear by marker, and others get mad at people in forums and blame them for being wrong...(no names mentioned)

actually the scratch 100s will suck. they're clearly pieces of shit. now son, my pro tip of the week, keep your bindings on nice and loose for awesome trick spins. chiao

yeah id recommend rossi power/scratch 100, look p10 or salomon s8/10, ur hell light so u dont need thefirmer springs of other bindings.

i weigh 200 lbs and the s8/10s ive got on my rail skis are 3 yrs old & still going strong

if I ever see Shane McConkey, I'm going to point at his skis and go 'Dude, they look like waterskis!' just to keep the trend going.

in the end, there arent many people who are gonna bag on the look pivot series, for good reason - they work. but with your size, durabilty isnt really gonna be an issue bro, so i'd go for the salomons mentioned earlier coz they are lighter.

that being said, the p10s would be great too.
