Ok, heres the deal. I am 5'11 about 190 lbs and I have been skiing park on rossi axial 14s(pivot) for the past 4 years. They are all busted up now, and places are refusing to mount them for me, which is a sign that I need new binders. the problem is that my skis have also broken, and I opted for new skis before the new binders. Now I have literally NO money, but I do have a pair of axial 10 (pivots) on my brothers old skis that are in prime condition.
I am a very aggressive skier, and had no problems with the 14s, but they were probobly too much. 12s seem like they would work as well.
on the 14s I kept the din at about 10, and had no problems whatsoever.
My question is aimed only at people that know what they are talking about:
Do you guys think the 10s would work, keeping the din at about 9? Are the springs just too weak for me? I put the dins up and snapped in, and pressed around the carpet a bit and had no problems, but I'm not sure about the legitmacy of this.
