BillMeLater.

I understand what you are saying.

But I have work when I get home from school and i'll be making more than enough to pay back what i'm spending, in full. So that's what i'm thinking about.

Although it sounds like a good idea, don't use BillMeLater, they pull you in with those offers and get you with the catch later.

You (the victim) are the cat in this meme>

Your logic defies how a vast majority of consumer purchases are made - and the creation of the credit card. Who are we, to tell him what to do?

BillMeLater will only work if you have existing credit - you cannot use it to build credit. So you will be denied if you aren't already somewhat established.

In our society nobody would have a household in a comfortable range from where they work, good schools for their kids and a neighborhood they feel comfortable with without the credit system in this day and age.

It's a damn shame but it's the truth - It's the way society works now.

morgage and education = good debt.

christmas gifts and shit = bad debt.

if you dont already, why dont you apply for a credit card and try to establish some real credit??

Ever heard of layaway.... its this crazy thing where you pay for some of something and then pay the rest later cause you couldn't afford the entire thing when you first purchased it.

do you ever look at the kinds of people who wait around in layaway lines? they dont look like skiers, thats for sure.

for cars i think its true. when you go beyond your possibilities and earnings just for something like a car or even smaller shit, youre in problems.

for houses, its unavoidable obviously

I do. But that also depends on the store you are at... Some stores offer layaway but dont advertise it, just ask.

Okay, well to answer your question.....

Yes Bill Me Later is legit. My wife used it a few years ago and it was very simple, helped her in a bind after her employer closed down for not paying their lease for 2 years. Much better than tossing it on the credit card as you won't be charged for 6 months. She was able to get a new job in a few months and pay it all off in full. Payed 0% interest.

It's not a "scam" like some moron up there suggested, it says very clearly in the agreement what the expectation is. Any responsible person with steady income can see it's a useful tool for both the consumer and the seller. You can have this now and hit me up when you can. It encourages the consumer without immediately trapping them with interest.

I already have real credit, I have no interest in a credit card - It would dig me into a hole knowing how I spend readily available money.
