Bill to End Federal Mairjuana Prohibition

I know a majority of the country has a hard time getting their hands on real killers but with medical legality in states, our NY bud has gotten even better and the same must go other places too.

Relying maybe 10% (purely made up) less on Mexican swag already!

I probably shouldn't speak for the 49 other states and where/how they get bud!

so true haha.

the funniest part is that i seriously think that soooo many people on ns would stop smoking weed in a fucking heartbeat when its legalized.

he kind of did though, you said there was absolutely no way marijuana could be a cartels top crop when those statistics he just showed you proved that if legalization happened they would take a huge hit in revenue

Haha nice. And I think it's very unlikely that a federal bill will get passed anytime soon to legalize weed.

same. might as well see some tax revenue from it instead of spending to stop it, since taxed marijuana would still be cheaper than the current backdoor exchange rate. I don't know anything about it though, not a partaker

Thats what I'm sayin man, ever since 8th grade I could get my hands on as much cannabis as I wanted when ever. I didn't need anyone to buy it for me I could just walk to a friends house and get nugs with in 5 minutes of calling him. By 16 I was walking into rooms with pounds of drying pot, grow rooms ect. I really don't think many parents understand how easy it is for their children to get cannabis compared to alcohol.

And exactly man fuck the cartel those guys make 60% of their multi billion $$ profit from illegal sales of marijuana. They also use that money to fuel gang wars just on the other side of the boarder which 10s of thousands of people have died.

Aside from your equally good points for this to pass, let's not forget the failed and costly drug war, and the real reason why drugs should be legal: personal freedom.

"LOL at people who think telling congress that weed will boost teh economy and make teh peoplez happy is actual going to do anything."

So no one should have an opinion and attempt to do anything? And what happens when Marijuana Prohibition ends? What side of history do you want to be on?

Obviously the quiet pussy drone side!!

No I'm all for legalization and ending prohibition but I just get a laugh out of all the people who think that their congressmen and reps don't already know exactly why it's a good idea and think they are getting somewhere by arguing statistics.

I'm just gonna call you out because I know for a fact that's not possible. Absolutely not. Why? that averages out to 10% their profit in every state is based solely upon marijuana sales. That doesn't add up. Also, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington already grow a majority of the weed that is sold in those states! Another thing, they are sending cocaine, meth, heroine, etc. over the border. A gram of marijuana runs a person $10/gram, cocaine runs roughly $50/gram from my knowledge. There must be 500% marijuana consumption over cocaine consumption for this number to work. Also, marijuana is more frequently produced in the states than cocaine is. Those stats are completely made up and completely incorrect. Please cite a source that has some logic or validity to it next time. I give up.

Vermont just decriminalized up to 2 ounces making it a 100$ ticket. More and more states are getting on board. This will definitely happen within the next 5 years.

New York's law is similar but up to an ounce I believe!

Cannabis march on May 4th in NYC. Be there or be a square!

Marijuana is the "cash cow" of the cartels

they make the greatest return from marijuana versus

buying south american cocaine or

taliban heroin or producing meth

Marijuana funds other illegal activities of cartels like sex trade

I was thinking the other day: It would be really, really funny if every state in America legalized weed but the federal government still considered it illegal. That would be gold.

Kinda late but would you look at that Illinois (Chicago represent) made medical marijuana legal just in time for 4/20 this year. needless to say smoked a half-o without a single cop in sight all day.
