Biking in Nelson BC

Are there any sick places to bike in nelson that dont require a car to get to.. Basically i need places that you can bike to from the city that arent far or anything like that. Or does everything a far ride to get to or only car accessable?

There is a whole mountain side called "Mountain Station". If you go to Sacred Ride in downtown Nelson (the end of Baker Street) they have maps of the whole area. Mountain Station is where everyone builds there own trails. There are road gaps, teeter toters and anything else you want. You can bike up there if you want too.

Anyways, yeah, huge air kid is right, Mountain Station is the closest and most stunt filled area, but there is also Spovoda Road trails which is more the technical riding area. For a trail map, or details on all the biking areas drop by Sacred Ride or Gericks Cycle. (Chose Sacred, Most guys at Gericks are assholes.)
