bikes

What type of hard tail or full suspension freeride bike should i buy for under 1,000 to ride around burlington VT, i know its winter but i want to start seeing how much i need to work at my mountain to beable to make enough for it

1 grand doesn't give you a whole lot to work with, maybe like a norco you'd get a solid frame and descent components, but otherwise don't even think about a full susp. for a grand, look at like a norco sasquatch or maybe 135 or 250, they're not to much

Seize the carp

yea i know that you cant get much with that, i already have a pimped out XC racer but it cant take the hits. im looking at like a P.3 from specialized

norco 125 over the p.3

p3s are way more than a grand, p2s you can get for like 600, and then just put a dj3 and some other shit on it, u should also consider building up ur own bike, ull be much happier, check out unrealcycles.com, best hardtail shop anywhere

i had a p3. nice bike. I also work at a bike shop and we carry norco kona and specialized. this years sick deal is the norco sasquatch. full hydros for about $100us. pretty sick

'some say i'm that girl... i say, wow that's wonderful! but you're still not getting any. now quit sniffing me! i don't even know you!'

build your own. get a HT, dj3, some cromo cranks, and a decent build kit and you can easily get it for 1000. Check unreal cycles.

Any of Azonic Bikes are sick but then You will be paying more than a grand I have a P.2 and the forks blow but a killer bike for 600.00 I havent really heard alot about Norco but the stuff that I have heard is all good the Norco 250 I think is not alot of money but I might be wrong on that dont even look at Trek hmmmm I also think Clifcat makes a badass bike

There is no such thing as shitty snow only shitty skiers.

If it was easy they would call it snowboarding.

my friend got a pretty good k2 full suspension for 1250 canadian he only broke the suspension because he took it off a jump but the bikes are sweet

I'll sell you a 2003 Gary Fisher Sugar 3+ for a reasonable price...I've used it hardly at all, so it's still in nice condition. Any takers?

I suggest you get a hardtail. I know they aren't as good for jumps and drops. But you can get so much control compared to a squishy that feels like Jelly when you pedal..
