I live in vermont near the best trail system in the east, Kingdom Trails, and am shopping around for a new bike. Lookin at the Trek liquid 55 or Giant AC-1.

 
don't get the new ac the componants have have been downgraded hella to make room for giants new 8 inch trail bike get last years for a sweet deal n u'll be getting a dope bike

^^there is nothing wrong with a hard tail...id say go with a Gaint. i have the xtc(for xc), and the vt(for freerideing)....i had never raced xc on a hard tail until this year i loved it! well i also used to ride trek and i do like the fuel 100

foxyness=hil? haha just joined and already figured out someone. ^^ i dont like giant, the only reason she does is cuz she is sponsered by them, oakley, fsa, and someothers....but the girl isnt gonna talk smack on her sponsers

^to the comment that im hot no no. but for me freeriding is like not as hard core as downhill, like hitting up stair gaps and such...haha maybe i used the wrong term, oh well that wut u get for being a x-country geek

i had bought a fuel 90 frame last year and have fell in love with it. I am not sure how the complete bike is stock as I only bought the frame, but i would imagine it damn good for the price.

 
if you want a good Downhill bike buy my bike, i have an '04 Santa Cruz v-10 with Manitou Dorado's, best set up you'l ever find, its great for freeriding too!
