I know you can look at maps of bike trails in denver online but i am wondering if people have favorites. I did the suburban st. paul(d13 maybe) but alot of it turns into no bike lane. Are there any mellow offroad trails, just simple rolling dirt? maybe cherry creek state park?

thanks for any help+k

yup cherry creek state park is good. if you want real mtn biking head to golden, jeffco, boulder or fort collins.

good descriptions and trail conditions of trails around boulder. Of what's ridable now, I like to go from foothills trail to eagle trail, through boulder res, shoot up the road to gunbarrel ranch, then down the east boulder trails and loop marshall mesa before heading home. Makes for a bit over 30 miles

If I only have time for a short ride, I'll just drive to Marshall Mesa and do a few laps. Ripping down the Marshall Valley trail as fast as you can is pretty fun.

The trails that open up in the summer are the more fun ones though.

Also, not in Denver, but not too far away. Check out Buffalo Creek along 285. This place is awesome, endless miles of rolling, fast, trails.
