ok, so i have a bike tire which is a piece of shit, and i wanna upgrade both my front and rear tires. size is 26.

here is the current tire that i have:

Hubs

Formula aluminum, Q/R

Rims

Weinmann Zac 19, 32-hole

Tires

26 x 1.95" CST Racing Knobbie

Spoke Brand

Stainless steel, 14ga. (2.0mm) straight gauge

Spoke Nipples

Unspecified

i need something lighter, and more durable, that also can be used with rim brakes.

they can be either tubeless, or tube, it doens't matter. i don't want to spend more than 399.99$, what are my choices? thnks NS!!!

What are you going to be using your bike on? If its street type riding, then I've heard great things about Schwalbe Table Tops. VERY light, and a fast tread.

I have Maxxis holy rollers on my street bike, they're super grippy and predictable, but heavy.

and 400 bucks can buy you a lot more than tires

im so sorry, i meant rims/wheels, and i do a lot of mtn biking, but some road and some jumps. i have a jamis cross country 2.0/piece of crap. i need some upgrades so i figured i'll start with my wheels

Well, immediately for a rear hub, a Hope Pro 2 comes to mind. It might be a bit out of your price range though (~ 175 for the rear hub), but it's top quality. If you want to shoot for it, than maybe you can find a deal on some good rims and a front hub. Have you checked out your local bike shop as well? You could probably get a good deal if you work with them, and tell them your price range. Sorry I can't be more helpful, i'm a bike noob.

ur gonna wanna make sure your wheel set has disc brake compatibility cuz that is the next thing you wanna get.

yeah i have hookworms on mine. i love them but theyre also heavy.

my friend has a dece pair of kendas. theyre similar to holy rollers, check em out maybe
