Bike problem

i got a new set of crankarms so im removing my older ones. the drive side came off easily, but the non drive arm won't budge at all. i've tried greasing it, WD40, using a hammer and even heating it with a propane torch. anyone know how to get this damn crankarm off?

take it to a bike shop. other wise you will prob just strip the threads and be fucked

yeah, i think i'm just going to go the a bike shop. the only problem is that the guy at the bike stop is so rude and hard to deal with- he pisses me off whenever i go in there.

Depending on the Crank there should be a ring in the bottom bracket which you have to remove with a different tool. Which most likely you do not have. Go to your bike shop.

 
you do have crank remover tool right? if you didnt use one of those to take the driveside off than your screwed. They are ISIS style cranks right? (it should say on the crank arm)

i know what you mean, the coolest bike shop went out of business, and there are just assholes left in town, so i have this x mechanic do my work for so cheap

Well, if you're using your crank puller, torque it down as much as you can. then what you need to do is something called shock load it. If you have any Kroyl lying around anywhere, spray that on. it is 10 times better that wd40. So when you are torquing it alot, hit the crank lightly with a hammer rotating around. If you do this right, it will almost definitley pop it looose.
