if it's just for arond town and shit get a motive from costco, full suspension, full money back warranty if anything breaks. Some of these fuckers will tell you that you need a super expensive Specialized or cannondale bike but tell them to get bent.

i'd suggest norco sasquatch, burly and fairly good components for super cheap, it's about 1000 new, so that's awesome, you get disk brakes and everything,

whatever you say, your prolly a fat kid and don't want the tail shock to bottom out or anything. so yea drop a grand, only a person askin what kind of bike to get could really need one like that. and what you don't understand is that only products made in bulk are worth anything because of a little thing called quality control. If one bike is gona hold up they all will, but have fun droping your curbs on a rockhopper.

hmm. i got the norco bush pilot and took off the shock seat and put on a nice bmx seat, replaced the rigids with some nice forks and put a new stem on it then i took off all the stickers so it looks pimp. Its great on dirt jumps, works fine on downhill trails and is perfect for going on streets or stair riding or whatever you do. just get good rims if you plan on riding lots of stairs.

i'd definetly go with a super expensive specialized or cannondale

I was born on planet earth

a rotating ball where man comes first. it's been around, for a long long time

now it's time to watch it die.

go out & but an Azonic P1 frame & then get a decent build kit- u shop it right itll get u a decent urban freeride bike for a bout 800 american

id get the one that looks the coolest and has cool shocks. pry a Cannondale would look the coolest.

IM out like a blind kid in laser tag--- --- I'm out like a midget in a high jump competition

prepare to spend some cash if you are going to get a cannondale. v-10 or a joker would be good if you manage to blown both tires, haha. but seriously jamis dakar comp is a great buy, good components for a great price. it's not a hardtail but it's a good bike, test ride it first thougth since it's not for all ppl.

If it's for around town, get a singlespeed - less parts to break on you and less parts to buy so you can get better stuff. I'm thinking of converting my old Raleigh sometime soon.

get like a GT avalanche 0.0, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 there is a large price range but this is a good bike for what your doing... its all about how much u want to spend

you should check out Surly bikes, those things are fucking awesome, you can buy the frame and then just buy mid range components to put on it, and yes get a single speed for around town. But if you do get the surly you'll end up having to buy everything that you'll need for components unless you can find a package deal set up already...but its a good bike for sure
