Hey all, I'm gona buy a rigid fork to replace my rock shox jett that's blown out. This is just gona be a commuter bike for now until my knee is rehab'd and i feel like buying a road bike.

question: Surly or Kona? I can get both for like 75 bucks (I cant remember models). Any other suggestions would be cool. It's for a trek 4500.

Man all i know is fox forks are the shit. Its been a while since i've looked at them (last year) so I dont know whats out. But there is some hot shit if you want it. I would buy them even if this was a commuter bike just to say you got the chron diddly of forks.

thats exactly the answer i was lookin for. I worked at a bike shop for a while and it seemed like Surly anything was prime stuff and the company was great. I just wanted to hear it from somebody who's owned surly. Thanks dude.

thats retarded. why put an expensive suspension fork on a commuter?!?! all its gonna do is make it more attractive to thieves, and make it less effiecient. and besides that, definatly go surly. that company is all about rigids, singlespeeds, and 29'ers. besides, im pretty sure they are US made, vs, tiwan, if that is important to you (its not to me, but i do ride an american bike)
