i know this is a repeat post but nobody really gave clear answer before so what is the biggest spin landed on video

i konw there are pictures somewhere of CR doing a 1440, and i think that there are some in an older video....someone correct me if i'm wrong.

in a warren miller movie (cold fusion maybe) some old skool arials guy lands a 1440 quad backflip. he calls it the SUV (4x4)

hate to be technical here, but the biggest spin on record on skis was seen by millions of people worldwide. Look at last years olympic videos for Ales Valenta's quintwisting triple backflip, where he does 5 full rotations. he does it for the first time on snow on the second solidpowder.com video.

But, in the newschooling world, the largest spin ever done would be the 1440. a small number of people can do them, and the first was done by C.R. Johnston, in Area 51. I think he was somewhere around 16 or so.

For biggest off axis spin on video, its either CR's corked 1260 cross in Area 51, or his recent 1260 Bio Mute that was posted in the vid section by Coloradoflats earlier this month. Both incredible.

candide was doing 1080 and 1440 in an old snowboarding movie, i don't remember the name, and for off axis rotation jon olsson can do switch cork 1260

cr landed a 1620 last year.

and DC can do cab 1260s and 1440s(i think)

Some where I head C.R. was working on a 1620, he was close to getting it or something. This may be a rumor but I think I read it in an interview. I call him 'Spin Masta' J'.

There hasn't been any vid or solid proof that someone did a 1620, but off that good size jump in area 51 CR landed a 1440. The corked 1260 looked crazy too, and to think that was 3-4 years ago.

I saw a guy do a cork 1440 in a comp, style as hell, and i know a 12 year old kid that can throw Dspin1260s so i'm sure if somone like cr realy hucked it he could get like a 1800 but i'm sure he realy isn't that interest in doin it...

how about biggest spin on a board? i wanna see CR do the biggest spin ever just for the record, to see how far he can really go. his 1260's are stylie now and he doesn't even look like he has to wind up -that- much considering what he's doing.

Iisko Heiskanen has done 1440 and I have heard that some norwegian dude did a 1800. Iisko has also done 1260 in QP.

 
i have a lot of trouble with 7s and hes throwing 1620s!! thats insane snow action at its best

yea, some snowboarder guy landed a 1440 on his last hit in the us open out east

whats the biggest spin done in the pipe tho? At that french comp a month back the trick that won was a switch 1080 in the pipe, and i've heard of a corkscrew 1260... anyone have video?

i heard that nick mercon was attempting 1260s in the pipe at parkasarus 3 i dont know if he landed it or not and i heard that candide did a dspin 1080 in a movie a few years ago

 
maybe not the most spins or the biggest air, but combined, JF's 1080 safety at the 2000 gravity games was so amazing. so smooth, so slow, , so huge, so stylie

 
yeah cr does 1440 in chapter three, and i think jeremy april does one in balance, but you cna't tell if he lands
