I’ve been following this dude for a few months now and I have to stand with him and show some support. I appreciate his stoke and his content is fun. To be honest I’m impressed by his talent. He’s only been skiing for a minute really. Also gotta say that the YouTube model is fairly established. The more new stuff unboxing content the better for your viewership. You may not love it but no one is making you watch it. Don’t know really if he’s on NS or not but if he is - much love from me.

He’s not the kind of person I hang with, but after watching a few of his vids he’s harmless and heck.. at least someone’s putting out ski content.
yes he doesn’t need his million full tilts / skis, but there’s plenty of people who fashion vlog and are spending thousands on the most useless shit like supreme constantly and nobody bats an eye.
He wants ski drip and has the money to create these outfits / try new skis. He will eventually use all his stuff and if he doesn’t run it all to the ground, then at some point it’ll probably end up on the second hand market with one of us fools coppin for a dope deal.

The point I was trying to get at is 1 vlogs are somewhat cringe in the first place (just speaking for the majority here but that point is subjective anyway) and 2 it’s kinda dumb to put a subtitle in your video stating how you got up and did the trick again after eating shit and including audio of where your filmer goes “oOh I hOpE hE’s OkAy”. Like that’s the constructive criticism right there ^^ lol.

I wish I had not reposted his vid in the cringe thread. Ya it made me cringe but making a thread is a bit too much. Being bullied by the older ski kids at my local hill was whack as fuck and I decided around 13-14 that wouldn’t be me when I was older. I was mostly annoyed with the secretly filming people thing but that’s something we could just politely educate him on. If I met this dude I’d 100% stoke him up on the skiing and call him out for the stupid shit. We need a small amount of gate keeping but it has to be done in the right way, don’t straight up bully people.

Im just stoked he bothered to actually make an edit instead of dumping his shit on instagram. Maybe Im old but back in the day this is what most amateur edits looked like before everyone had access to GoPro with stabilizers and stuff.

Anyone on NS you can ask anyone I ride with for verification if you like, but this little phrase here is exactly why I treat little 11 year old kids at the hill getting into the scene the same way I treat big dogs who are the “best” riders on the hill. I love stoking up the younger generation, there’s never a time I ride into the park and I don’t say hey what up homie whether that be I’m riding with myself or i’m with a big group of people. Hell I’ll even film for some of these kids anytime they ask me. And I can tell they get stoked on it.
why do I do all this? Cause there was a select few big dogs at the park who treated me this way and it made me feel insanely accepted into the scene, and now that I may be one of those “big dogs” (yeah cringe term Ik) I wanna do the same thing for those kids, and then some.
the point I’m trying to get at is if you want your crop to grow (the younger/up and coming/ newer generation of park riders, whether that be young or old) you’ve gotta nurture it as much as possible. Even if it’s with a little “tough love”. Was what I said “tough love”? No, but you get my point.
To avoid hypocrisy I’m glad you guys called ME out for me being improper or cringe just the way I tried to do on this homie’s edit. Makes me re-shape my thinking a little bit.
