Biggest Jump

I have a 10 ft drop in that is very steep. (With snow) I was wondering what is the highest jump u could make and the longest gap u could make to get good air
 
Make a steep 4 foot tall jump with 15-20 feet of gap, speed check it first though to make sure it feels right, don't want to pull a Simon Dumont.
 
you're not going to get very fast with 10 feet of in run, the biggest jump you can make is like 2 feet tall that will send you 5 feet down, flat landing is ok
 
You've gotta do the physics for it, man. Believe it or not, park crew at resorts and camps everywhere are highly educated and have to run ridiculous numbers and do shit tons of math to get all that shit right, and it's never just about common sense.

Shouldn't take you much more than a few hours of simple calculus to get you the perfect pop and landing right on the sweet spot.
 
So basically Ive been experimenting with jump size and landing and I have found that the jump has to be bigger than 2 feet period!!! SO i was thinking maybe 3 ft or 3 and 1/2 - and my plywood is also 8 ft long!
 
I dont get it though cause I see kids on youtube that are starting maybe 20 - 30 ft before the jump on a pretty flat slope and hitting propably 4 ft - 5ft+ jumps and going at least 7 - 10 ft long
 
Well I pretty much need it to be be big enough where I can spin 5's without having to spin as fast as I can and maybe when spinning super fast 630's so I really just want to know how tall!!!!
 
lololololol tell me how spinning a 630 off a jump works out for you.

id say about 7 ft tall.
 
EVERYBODY GOING TO REPLY READ THIS FIRST!!!!! - so i was thinking of alternitives because all of u guys were saying like 2 ft jumps with 5 ft gaps - so In my yard I have this stone wall to flat grass. The stone wall is about 2ft high itself. Before the stone wall I have about 8 ft of donwnhill at about a 45 angle and I could use an height ft long piece of ply wood and set it up really steep on a suport and support underneath to. As long as the snow is nice and smooth and the dropin is steep I think the jump + stone wall could be about 4 - 5 ft high. do u think that is better than the dropin
 
Put the drop in as well as this new drop in for bonus speed, if you can move the drop in...
 
If i could move the dropin that i already I have i could make a jump like maybe 7 ft but I cant. but should I still do the jump on the stone wall
 
Now maybe my meter needs checking but while I'm pretty sure you're trolling, you're kind of right, at least with bigger jumps. At your average midwest clusterfuck of a hill everyone just guesses and hopes their jumps turn out right.

But if youre building say, windells 100-something foot jump from last summer, youre going to do more than just eye it
 
If I were you I'd build a rail, also you c use a bungee for more speed that cost about $100 but are good for a lot of things and easily portable.
