yea levinthal is the biggest i have heard of, thre are huge ones in LCC. But yeti how in the world could a table count????thats quite possibly the dumbest thing i have ever heard if you are serious

gap - A space between objects or points; an aperture.

The two points would be the inrun and the tranny. The top of the table is the aperture. Go fuck yourself and stop with the constant attempts to bash me.

Yea well that may be the definition but when we hit a table top in skiing are we actually sitting there hitting the top of a table?? That was a sorry excuse for an explaination

A table is technically a gap, while it may be manicured whats teh difference? u have a takeoff and a landing and flat in between

 
na i dont think a table top is a gap, think about it, if a table top was considered a gap then everything we call a gap would just be called a table or top or reversed everything we call a table top would just be called a gap, yes u clear a 'gap' when hittin a table top, but when u hit a gap jump u must clear a certain area to be able to land at all.

 
exactly what i was trying to say, a gap is something with nothing in between like you must make the landing. Otherwise if you consider it a distance between to points then i guess everything is a gap even a pipe

i heard that some snowboarder did a rodeo 5 (or misty 5, i forgot)over some 170ish foot table at superpark... i dont

 
don't get the wrong impression. snowboards hit on average 100 foot gaps. i have seen 200 foot gaps before like nothing.....snowboarders go twice as big as skiers.....at least for now

u sure it wasn't pyramid gap they were hitting? cuz i used to think that the one boarder in Clay Pigeons undershot Chad's, but than I noticed that it was Pyramid. Pyramid is only 90', and Chads has a big ass tree on the skiers right side, while Pyramid doesn't.

it's in Little Cottonwood Canyon (same with Chad's and Livithan). Both Chads and Pyramid gaps are made on old mining things or something.

Anything over 50ft is a gap, end of argument. If you land on the flats from that much air you are so fucked it's not even funny. I thought that snowboarders have a different name for Chad's Gap? Why would they call it something else if none of them have hit it?

Don't know about Chad's Gap, but check out the DC poster in Snowboarder or TW Snow - Josh Dirksen doing a cork 900 over Leviathan. The sickest ski or snowboard trick I have seen in this year's mags.

 
yeah the inrun at chads is too narrow I think, snowboarders can't get going fast enough.

Is it in the Superpark issue? because in the one before that all it is is Scotty Wittlake, doing only a 7 that isnt all that big.

 
CR's Bio900 Reverse Tail Grab is proabably the sickest hit of the year...It's the biggest hip i have ever seen...super huge super stylie.

Last year was Candide's D-spin over chad's.

Anyone disagree? I can't think of any bigger hits/tricks.

My Huckdoll busted a Double backflip 1800 triple lincoln loop mute, luikang japan to toxic, to late venus flytrap rodeo 5 safety grab from one side of my yard to the other. Due to his size that's about the equivilant of 600ft! That's gotta be the sickest gap ever!!

Well my huck doll just did the same but in my front yard gaping over the road then he did a vertical grind up a lamp post stalled at teh top and did a quad lincoln off, thats like a 400ft. cliff drop!

Man, crap, that's sick!! I'm gonna have to go teach him some stuff. Maybe if I give him NS.com coloured hair and put little salomon stickers on his skis he'll go bigger.
