I just jumped the cornice, which is the biggest cliff up at Bachelor, kinda weak considering it's not all that big. It was a fuckin rush though. What's the biggest at some of your home resorts and have you done em yet?

There is a nice size cliff in wentworth on an 'off piste' trail called Krazy Kreek its bout 20 ft thats bout as big as ive gone I like nice 7fters

well im an east coaster but i dropped a good 20-30 ft at jackson hole, looks so much bigger when your on top of it

I live in the midwest and there is obviously no cliffs here. But i did gap the halfpipe this past year at my home resort . Other than that I've done like a 20 ft cliff at Big Mountain, MT, but i couldn't find them bigger than that.

 
I dropped a big Cliff at jackson off Alta Chute 1, not sure how big probally like 20 feet. Jumped probally a 30 ft hiking near snowbird too.

man i wish there were big drops where i ski...there is a couple like 10 footers..there hard to find but ive done em...it kinda sucks here for stuff like that..

probably 30 feet, backcountry at Ruapehu New Zealand. That was pretty sick. It was a lot bigger than I first expected, landed way backseat in a pow drift about a foot deep on the steeps so it was sweet, loved it, otherwise I just do little 10-15 footers

I hit one, the cliff was like 15 feet but I launched like 25

See most people had theirs in jackson, that is because jackson is the sickest. The best ive dropped was 35 feet. I've seen people in person drop atleast a hundred verticle before off cliffs.

Oh yea, I saw Rob Holmes do his 120+ foot lawndart to face plant at alta when we were there. It was fucking crazy.

like a 200 cm wide chute down and then a 15 foot straight line in between two trees with a branch hanging over so you have to duck and snow formation off to the side so you have to jump side ways off the cliff which is like 20 feet....the cliff isnt big its just the park getting down to it will make you shit yourself..

the biggest is probably like 30 feet..

I japaned a 25-30 footer in Blackomb this year going pretty fast. It was so fucking cool, in exception of my head wacking my knee, but i rode it out.

 
haha, i dropped the 15 footer under the edelweiss chair at alpental pretty late in the season when the snow was really grabby. i landed so perfect but my skis stuck in far enough for me to pop out and i ended up doing like 5 front flips down rollen (the run below). I think the biggest ive ever dropped was a 30 footer.

 
the biggest drop ever was done by Paul Ahern (or something like that), who dropped 226 feet. the landing was flat and slushy, and he left like a 6 foot bomb hole, and cracked his sternum. 226 feet is sick though.

 
no, he is still alive. there was a guy at kirkwood like 6 years ago that went for like 160 and landed on some rocks and died, but Paul is still alive.

 
cha right! i have only seen like 2 dropoffs where i ski (MN) and they are like 5 feet. i did a couple of em but the ski patrol got pissed that i was off the trail.

I droped about a 75 ft bridge, into water, but the highest cliff i've done? not huge, id say gapping the cat track on blackcomb is the funnest, cliff i;ve dropped, probley landed about 30ft down.

well...are we counting the height of the cliff, or how far you drop...becuase you can hit a 5 footer with hella-speed and go 40 feet....

 
i dropped a 20 footer, but i hit it so fast i landed like 60 feet away, so the total drop was probably like 40-50 feet cause the landing was kinda steep

20-25 off the cornices at Crystal are about all i can take right now, but i love cliff hucking so i vow to go bigger. I did a 60 footer into water, but no skis!

Yeah, this one I did was probably a little over 20 feet. But cliff diving into the water is a fun ass pasttime too. I jumped off a bridge that was at least 45 feet, but the fucking indian police tried to come after me. The bastards took my beer and my towel, by the time I got back up they were gone. Basically, don't jump off bridges on a reservation with angry indians. Bastards.

Err 35-40 (counting total distance falling) footer in vail, china bowl, hmm in ohio like 12 off the side of the run where all the snow is piled up hahaha. 226 feet, jesus christ, is there a vid anywhere!?!?!?

 
i dropped the height of an 11 story building today...but i guess that doesnt really count...my best 'cliff'is still 25 feet of rock...then i landed further down...but i dont count that....the cliff is the cliff

 
meh, in the east coast, cliffs are a rareiy unless u jike smuggs, stowe, jay peak, or somethin...... which i intend to do next year. but at burke i dropped some stuff prolly over 10 ft. they have some nice glades, which are fairly untouched cause that place is all racers.

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?
