Biggest Drinking Night of the Year?

Some of my freinds insist that tonight, the night before thanksgiving is the biggest drinking night of the year. They say that since lots of people are home it is the largest drinking night of the year. Anyone think this aswell? I am goin out now we wil see.
 
this is the biggest bar night of the year because all college kids come home on the same day and go out to bars. My dad owns an irish bar and he makes more money tonight than on St. Pattys day and its crazy in there on St. Pattys day.
 
As far as total alcohol consumption, I'd have to go with New Years, but most people spend it at parties so you don't see as many people in bars.
 
New years eve is by far the biggest drinking night of the year. Everyone from the age of 15 to 90 are drinking that night.
 
the best nights are the pub sessions.

i dont think you have that culture in america, but basically you go to the pub for lunch and then end up sitting in there all day till closing time.

tends to be done with a small amount of good mates and you get completely hammered without really realising it. Much better than new years where the world and his wife are around with ages running from 5 to 85, you feel ablidged to talk to people you dont really want to, all those family parties tend to be a nightmare, go out clubbing and you pay a stupid amount to even get in let alone the drinks inside.

That is why this year i shall be having a tiny little party with 10 or so good mates, couple of tinnies and a bit of green
 
st. patys for sure that might be just cause i live in cleveland and we r known for the biggest st pattys day parade
 
The night that the Toronto Maple Leafs finally win the cup will be the most intense drinking night ever.

So far New Years has been the best one for me.
 
its not necessarily the biggest drinking night of the year but its the busiest night of the year for bars...i know i got pretty wasted last night thou
 
this all makes sense now, I was out with some friends cruising around town last night and I was wondering why 50 million cops were out. some poor guy was getting breathalized, sure sucks to be him.

And I don't think New Years is the biggest drinking night. Most older people have a glass of champagne at Midnight and call it a night. It's only the younger generation that gives a fuck. The night before Thanksgiving is probably the biggest drinking night of the year cause everyone is realizing they have to spend the next day with their entire family so they decide that getting hammered is the best thing to do to remedy that situation.
 
I'd have to say new years, all around the world (except china???)

this weekend only americans have off, canadians, europeans etc. are just havin a regula r weekend

newyears, on the other hand, almost everybody from 14-30's are wasted, an alot above that

new years day = worldwide hangover (except china???)
 
naaaa, every year the last saturday of the summer shit just goes down like maaaaaaaaad son, i was actualy hung over for 2 days
 
well, i had to wait in a longer line last night to get into a bar in bethlehem, pa than i did to get into the best club in atlantic city last weekend... last night was rediculous.
 
id say friday after thanksgiving is first off mad parents are off shopping plus theres alot of kids home from college so theres highschool and college parties, mad gay in my town the everytime theres a party cops just blow it up
