champ is so legit. i got a friend with a lakehouse and he has an acquaintance (dont remember whether its a relative or family friend) who has been studying champ for years and has all kinds of proof. ive heard it second hand through him and its legit. get nhskier05 up in this thread and he will tell you about it.

We have like 3 times spent a night over in the woods looking for it. The problem is is the majority of the woods back theres thickass swampthat you cant really walk into without sinking so we never got that far in. It really is the perfect area for anything that wants to hide to live though. Its about a ten mile swamp ant then on the other side of it from where we saw it theres like another 20 miles of state gameland thats really dark and thick to. Who knows what the facks in there

dude there is absolutely no evidence out there that can actually prove bigfoot exists. And just because the sasquatch in OP's story didn't care that he had a gun doesn't mean he wasn't a human. there are crazy suicidal people out there you know. Also, when you are scared shitless, everything gets blown way out of proportion. And im sorry to say it but although its a good story, I can't believe a word of it until I see real evidence of bigfoot.

You'd think that with all these bigfoots wandering around someone somewhere would find at least 1... just 1 clump of hair or piece of bigfoot shit or a body or anything that would provide definitive evidence of its existence... but no, you've just got a bunch of crazies shooting blurry film and taking shitty pictures.
 
so what does bigfoot just travel to EVERY backwoods in EVERY small town in america? or are you trying to say there are multiple bigfoots just chillin in the woods in like every state? This bigfoot colony must have their shit together to have over 50 bigfoot mandudes just chillin without ever being caught. OR if you say its only one bigfoot then he must make a lotta money in order to afford all these plane tickets to travel to the woods
 
Well there has been many hair samples recovered but after running dna

test human characteristics show up in many of the samples so there's

the 2 possibilities, either these alleged Bigfoots share similar dna

traits to that of humans or that that samples have been contaminated.

As for finding a corps I agree, you would think that we would have been

found by now one!

I still like to believe that they exist but until see one or one is found dead or alive I'll always have my doubts!
 
My first year at hood all the kids were telling me how this is where big foot lives and i was 12 so i was freaking out. My dad was coaching at some race camp at hood as well. So when camp was over i just went to where he was staying and was gonna leave for the air port in the morning. it was some creepy ass little house deep in the woods. so i fell asleep and my dad ran up to the cabin like a quarter mile up the road, and i woke up and no one was there and i was like 12 so i was freaking out. i didn't see anything but seeing the environment out there i would not have been surprised if i did. i"m a believer i guess.
 
How often do you find dead wolves or bears just laying in the woods? Most creatures, especially predators, tend to go to a nice secluded spot to die. I doubt a sasquatch would be different

sounds pretty legit to me. Now you need to go back out into the woods with a Go Pro and the gun again and shoot the damn thing.
 
If an animal does not want to be found, it will not be found. In the many years I've been hunting I have found a grand total of ONE bear skull. That's 4 weeks a year for deer season, and another 3 for moose. I've been doing that for 4-5 years. They know the woods better than we ever will, and know the hidings spots just the same.

i definitely think bigfoot or sasquatch is real.

i live in washington and in the woods. about 2 years ago during the summer i was at my friends house with two other people lighting off fire crackers into the river. we were just sitting there minding our own buisness and soon it started getting dark. we stayed outside and continued to throw fire crackers into the river. our lighter ran out of lighting fluid so my friend ran in the house to get another lighter. me and my other friend were still at the river witht the fire crackers. all of a sudden we hear this realy loud extremely high pitched scratchy scream. it sounded like it came from the other side of the river. btw the river isnt that big its about 20-30 feet wide so not much. but on the other side is completly forest habbitat. we couldnt see anything. we heard the scream and me and my friend look at each other and just think what the fuck was that. we turn around and starting running to the house which is like 150 feet away. and on the way there our friend met us half way witht the other lighter. he also heard it. we go back into the house and think about what it was. i have heard the sounds of other animals in the area and this wasnt familar at all and i have lived in woods all my life so i know what im talking about. the noise sounded like it was standing on the other side of the river shore. also what kind of animal would be brave enough to come near fire crackers because we were lighting them off for like 30 minutes before we heard this thing. the sound was not human. the next day we were curious about it and since we already thought that bigfoot excisted we were convinced after we heard this thing. we went on google and searched bigfoot stuff and we found a video of some guy in arizona seeing and hearing this thing. the video has the same sound that we heard and it gave me chills down my back when i heard it. have never heard anything like it in my life and still to today i have never heard it.

this is the video we listened to the scream is at 2:55 but watch the entire video. i am convinced that this was it. everybody who heard it and watched the video agreed that it was bigfoot.

There's one thing I dont understand about these stories and its that noone ever decides to take a shot at the damn thing. If I saw a monster like that and was packing, then i'd shoot first and ask questions later.
 
ha ha every backwoods town. well your chances of seem em in the city are slim, but i know exactly what you mean. I am working on posting pictures of the tracks/footprints that that i showed the FWP here in montana as soon as i can, but they are just a normal picture, and i need to get them digitalized, or whatever.
and these tracks were found 15 miles from any road, trailhead, etc, and at least 100 miles from any backwods town. My father and i were on horseback on a 5 day hunting trip when we crossed the tracks. My late father is the one who took the picture because he was as dumfounded as i was. and had been a hunter his whole life, rest in peace.

Yeah your 100% right! I was just reading up about how the corps of a bear is incredibly hard to find because they do exactly that!
 
I like the way you think. In those situations, being a hunter and all, you just gotta calm down and take the time to make sure its not some fuck in a costume or a bear and shoot the thing. Imagine bringing in the first real bigfoot? You would become world famous and you could make so much money off the body if it was legit.
 
Think about most other continents. They have great apes. It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that North America has one too.
 
a kid i went to high school with's dad is a ranger at the national forest station near my house and he makes bigfoot prints all over the woods just to fuck with people. I spend half of my time in the woods and the only big sketchy creatures I have come across are bears and moose. I don't believe in bigfoot although the possibility of some large primate in the woods is pretty interesting.

scary as fuck bro...i have my own bigfoot sighting story also.....this past november i was hunting on private lands near ephrata (i already know i butchered the spelling) for deer and im sitting at the bottom of a mountian side...come about 1 in the afternoon i was on watch and saw a massive black object fall out of a thick pine tree i remember looking up and seeing large branches falling down about as thick as a three liter bottle of soda i look and see a large 7+ foot object stand up then run up he mountian....i know he was 7+ feet because after he ran up i went up to look at the tree and marked a peice in my mind where he was and it was 7+ feet tall..but otherwise it scared the fuck outta me
 
when your freaing for your life its sortta like the deer in the headlights thing your muscles practicly freeze up and your loose rational thinking until its too late
