how would these handle all mountain for groomers and powder days. Im about 5'8'' and i've been skiing for a couple years now. ive heard they are kinda soft but can they still hold an edge on ice.

I ski on them sometimes..and what size are you thinking? a 176? I found them to be alot more stiff than my 04/05 scratch bc's.

yes.....just barely.....not,

they are a big mountain ski, they are light, but they more stiff than the TM, and no, they won't chatter at 10mph,

seeing as you are from hyland hills, what does it matter how they handle powder? i mean are you going to be skiing through the freshly man made snow?

for out west they will be sick, they have a bigger waste than the karmas, so more float in pow, also, the tail on the big's is a little higher than the tip, not as high as the JPs but much more than the karma, don't get me wrong, i love volkls more than any other ski, the karmas are your 1 ski quiver if you ski park, groomers, crud, powder, bc, and w/ the higher stifness, more sidecut, etc, of karma they turn alot better in anything but powder
