Ok, since ski season is well underway, im needing to pick a new ski REALLYY soon, and ive narrowed it down to 3 choices. The Big Trouble, PE's, and the foils. I think they troubles may be pretty big for me, but, im just pretty much wanting to know if they would be good for me.

- Your height: 5'6"

- Your weight: 120

- What you ski most of the time (or break it down into percentages as that seems to be a popular way of doing it on here)I ski sunshine, lake louise, so like bowls, powder, glades and a little bit of park here and there. 30% powder, 50% all mountain, %20 park (or less)

- Your skiing ability level: Advanced

yup, ski season is in full effect here! youd think its mid january in alaska if the signs didnt say "welcome to PA"

big troubles, ableit wider than the other two, are probably the most versitile. a 176 is a good length, good for park if you wanted, especially for jumps, great for steep stuff, pow, and of course switch (higher tail than tip). the flex is great; not too stiff, not too soft, but nice and lively

agreed. I'd recomend them over anything. but yeah, not sure if you could go the 176. so see them in the 176, but if they don't work out, dont push you for going too big. and i really don't know anything on the other choices.

Ok thanks alot guys. I was looking at the foils and pe's then i remembered the trouble and saw that the sidecut was wider, and better for what im doing.

unless you are a really really strong 120lbs, the big trouble is going

to be a lot of ski, since the shortest it comes is 176. i would check

out the PE in a 169, or even the seth in a 169 if you're looking for

some extra width. also, the salomon gun in a 166 might be something to

check out as well. you're fairly lightweight, you dont need a super

stiff ski. the seths and guns are both sick in the glades too.

big troubles sound good for you. my friend rides them in a 176 and goes all over the mountain and doesn't complain one bit about them, says they are awesome. He is one inch taller than you and about 20lbs heavier though but if you are an advanced skier then you shouldn't have a problem. Start working out and putting on some weight ;)
