Big Trouble -- Legit on the East Coast? Good ski?

I've been seeing pretty good deals on these skis recently. I'm pretty big 200lbs, 6'2", aggressive skier, looking for a good all mountain ski. I'm looking at last years (the green ones). Are these too big for the East Coast? I want a ski that can rip in the pow yet still be versatile enough to hold an edge on rock hard boilerplate.

ive never ridden them but i know someone who has them there sick. they sound like just what you need dont think they will be to big

definetly not to big for EC, a friend of my who's opinion i hold very high rode them all last year and loved them. He is 5' 10" 160 and a very aggressive skier.

The 186 would be perfect for you, out here on the west they are my normal do everything/not 3 feet of fresh day.

Hold an edge on the groomers, pop in the park, float in the pow.

yeah get em. i just got trubs to dick around on. im ur same size and when i wanna rip i grab my mother ships. theyr 97 uunder foot and do just fine

I rode the 05/06 (the ones with flames) and they were awesome here in Aus and we have alot of hardpack. Im 6'0 and fairly aggressive. I was very happy with it for all mountian ski. I dont think there was any changes accept the graphics from 05/06 to the 06/07

Well, it wouldnt be as say.. precise in its turning than something with a smaller underfoot.. such as its little brother... but it will still hold one heck of an edge.

plus, if you're into park, the larger footprint makes landings a little smother...

Yeah, go for them if you can get them cheap. I skied them in Whistler all winter primarily as my pow ski. In the park, they're a bit stiff for me (6'4, 185lbs), but on groomers they feel nice and solid, pretty good edge hold. Whenever it hadn't snowed in a while and I wanted a day on groomers (Rock and Roll/Ridgerunner on Blackcomb, hell yeah), I took the Big Troubles.

i rock them on the east coast and they kill it but if you wanna do more powder than park mount like -2 from recommended because the recommended is pretty far up. im 6'2 170 and ride 186 and they are ill fo sho. hard charging

I'm curious about them as well.

They are a great price, and I'm interested in getting a good east coast, all mountain ski that has some width that can float, yet still carve a groomer.
