Paid for the regular shipping too!I've never had a problem with them and will continue shopping there forever.
Now for something ski related.......uhhhh pray for snow in tahoe?

Amazing company, great service but the shipping to canada right now it wack its sooo expensive i have passed on more then one thing i wanted from them unfortuantley.

dont know what happened w/ you, but everytime i have bought something from bc, whether it was tramdock, s&c, whiskey, or whatever, it came quick and without problems.

nike doesnt screw over the customers either... comprehend what i wrote, then you'll know what i'm talking about.

i bought a pair of 05/06 ninthward butterlicious' in spring of '08 and they got raped within 9 months. i didnt say anything to backcountry till just a few weeks ago, sent them back in a box and got my money back. remounted once and a rotten core. this is what they looked like if you were curious: :)

your saying that BC is as legit as nike sweat shops, meaning they are not legit. I disagree and say they are,.....comprehend amigo???

When I ordered last year's anthems to be shipped the the UK, the shipping rates were amazing for a trans-atlantic ship, but then UK customs put a $80 ($120) levy on top of it.

I read what you wrote. And it's tough to comprehend that bullshit without any context. How are they a sweatshop? Please enlighten me. I've been working there for 2 years and I think they treat their employees very well and offer some perks that not a lot of shops in the industry can't offer to their employees.

To me, it just sounds like you were laid off after being hired as seasonal help for the 4th and are still bitter (you did used to work at BC right)?

It might be time to grow up and get over it.

its funny how they claim to be the anti-corporation when in reality they're worse than most. again i say, go shop at REI.

I'm not trying to bad mouth BC because I still do love what they do. But depending on which area you work in the way they treat the employees is totally different. I was laid off after working 8 months (so not seasonal) in the same position on the same schedule and then all of a sudden they said I had to work 5x as much. Literally it was one day. I couldn't because I had school and they pretty much told me we can hire someone in a second we don't need you. I also have a friend who is going through a similar situation right now over there. So I wouldn't call their employee treatment the best.

Well you've got your experiences with them. I have mine, and I've got absolutely nothing bad to say about the company. I've been treated great. That sucks you had school and couldn't work it out to fit your schedule. They're usually very accommodating to college kids.

Thanks for at least bringing some context into your arguement. Skiierman is still just hating with no context as to why he was 'screwed' over.

rei doesn't even have a taco cart in their parking lot at lunchtime. who would ever go there when you can get gear AND tacos at bc.com?

didn't want to go into it, but yes they fucked me over more than because "it was seasonal". i worked full time with them and a few months in i check my sched. which was given a day before the next work week and see all my hours are gone except for one day. so thats 40 hours cut to 7 without any notice. my roommate works for them as part time and lost only a day. another buddy actually gained a day of work, one that he couldnt do. only explination they gave was that some chick that we all have never seen before was pointed in charge of our hours and just randomly hacked peoples' hours with the only consideration being how long they've been hired for (roommate who lost a day as part time only worked for maybe a month longer than i had been). all the supervisors didn't offer any bit of help because well, they couldnt. only one who had the power was this woman who we didnt know existed. this basically fucked me over with a job and if it wasn't for my amazing and understanding parents, i would have been evicted with a destroyed credit. also while working i loved how you were on the edge of getting fired for working 1 min. of overtime while at the same time livehelp which is supposed to be customer service, is really a competition to see who can get the highest sales... this is fueled of course, by companies like forum or nixon who hold contests for livehelp, in order to get their products reccomended and sold.
