Walnuts is the only one I can think of...
Any other big time skiers that started freeskiing 15ish or later that you guys know of?

the fuck are you talking about? he was no older than 17-18 when he won super unknown, thats late now?

okay? an irrelevant interview that came out two years before you were even a part of this website? i dont know what youre getting at man?no hate though, this thread is a good idea

It says he legitimately started skiing 06-07 season

I mean skiers like this too that didn't start charging hard until they were 15 or older or so

when you mention 'big time' your really limiting yourself.especially in our sport, when wallisch is 24 and is considered 'old'

tanner hall is only 28, very much a young man, but has had 2 broken knees and 2 broken ankles... people are questioning if he will be competitions ready at 30, and were talking about the guy that got pretty much got all of this started.

its not like baseball where players go into their forties or even football where players go into their thirties.

Mike Douglas I'd assume. He's 41 or 42 now, still a legitimate skier, and him an JP auclair and the rest of the New Canadian Airforce. Really would have been old when they started free skiing. And hell, they pioneered it.

Keri Herman grew up in MN playing ice hockey and was on the Varsity hockey team all through highschool. She didn't even start skiing until she started attending college at the Univ. of Denver. She didn't hit her first rail until age 21. I can't believe what she's accomplished in that short of time.

Hornbeck skied for the first time in 6th grade, then boarder for like 2 or 3 years. He's skied ever since. That's pretty inspirational.

OP starting skiing at 15 and is wondering if he has any chance of going pro and riding with Tammy Wallnuts

Pretty sure Cam Riley didn't get a break till at least....mid 20's? Going off a convo with someone about it a while ago so excuse the inaccuracy.
